  2. First comment — auto-post your link after publish (Facebook & LinkedIn)

The Problem Facebook now limits link posts to 2 per month for unverified accounts, and LinkedIn suppresses link posts by ~60%. The industry workaround: post your link as a first comment instead of in the caption. This preserves organic reach while still giving followers a clickable link. Today, Marky users who want to include links have to manually go to each platform after a post publishes and add the comment themselves. That defeats the whole point of scheduling, especially for agencies managing 20+ accounts. Our Solution When you schedule a post that has a link, Marky will automatically post that link as the first comment after your post goes live on Facebook and LinkedIn. No extra steps. How it works: If your caption contains a URL, we move it to the first comment (where links in captions hurt reach). Other platforms keep the URL in the caption as normal. If your post has no URL in the caption, we use your business website as the first comment. You can always see and edit the first comment before publishing. LinkedIn comments are delayed 60 minutes (research shows LinkedIn penalizes links posted in comments within the first hour). Why only Facebook and LinkedIn? These are the two platforms where (a) links in captions hurt your reach and (b) links in comments are clickable. The other platforms don't benefit from first comments: Instagram — links are not clickable in comments TikTok — links are not clickable in comments YouTube — links are clickable in descriptions, so no need for a comment workaround Google Business — no comment API (posts use a CTA button instead) Pinterest — already supports a native destination URL on pins, no comment API needed What's Next This feature is in active development. We're submitting the required Facebook API permissions now and building in parallel. We'll roll it out as platforms are approved. After launch, we'll collect data on how you use first comments to inform future improvements (custom templates, CTA text wrapping, etc.).

  3. Canva Integration

Integrating Canva to Marky will significantly enhance Marky's design capabilities This integration would empower users by providing direct access to Canva's extensive library of templates and design elements. This would not only streamline the workflow but also unlock a world of creative possibilities for crafting professional-looking social media custom templates and not rely on a small number of templates inside Marky.

  4. Multiple schedules / queues

Support multiple schedules and send posts to different schedules (ie one schedule that goes to FB and linkedin and posts at 9 am) and another one that posts to tiktok at 6 PM In addition, allow within a schedule to set different times for each day. In addition the ability to schedule at a certain time for each platform. For example, my audience on facebook usage is a different time than LinkedIn.

  5. Light and dark logo options

The background on some of the generated post blends in with my logo and looks terrible. I end up deleting a lot of generated post I'd otherwise like to use. Most logos have a light and dark version for this reason. If we could upload two and choose the one we want to use with the edit feature it would be perfect.

  10. Improve translation to languages other than English

The quality in languages other than english is very poor. Many seem like direct translations from english, which sounds creepy in german.

  11. Wordpress Integration

jsamplesjrCouple questions. Can this integrate with wordpress? Can we add in a URL to scrape URL and auto create for posting to our integrations? For Wordpress it would be nice to be able to have it take our wp posts and then summarize it in multiple versions and then set to schedule out to our socials. For adding URLs to scrape to do the same as above but now take past wp posts or other media out there to curate.

  13. Add location to Instagram posts.

Adding location to your Instagram posts is important for several reasons: Increased Discoverability Local Search: Users often search for content based on location. By tagging your location, your posts can appear in location-based searches, increasing visibility to a wider audience interested in that area. Explore Page: Posts with location tags can show up on the Explore page for that location, attracting users who may not follow you. Enhanced Engagement Community Connection: Location tags can help build a sense of community by connecting your content to a specific area. This can encourage local followers to engage more with your posts. Local Events: If you're participating in or posting about a local event, tagging the location can attract attention from others interested in the event or area. Targeted Audience Geographical Relevance: By tagging your location, you attract followers who are more likely to be interested in your content because it's relevant to their area, making your audience more targeted and engaged. Brand Recognition Showcasing Locations: If your brand has a physical presence (like a store or event), tagging your location helps customers find you easily, which is crucial for driving foot traffic. Local Partnerships: If you collaborate with local businesses or influencers, tagging the location can strengthen those partnerships and reach both audiences. Visual Storytelling Contextual Information: Adding a location can enhance the narrative of your post, providing context and making your content more relatable. Travel and Lifestyle Content: For travel or lifestyle brands, location tags can be essential for showcasing experiences and destinations, adding to the overall aesthetic and story of your feed. Analytics and Insights Performance Tracking: Location tags can provide insights into which areas resonate most with your audience, allowing for better-targeted future content and campaigns. In summary, adding location tags to your Instagram posts can significantly enhance your visibility, engagement, and overall connection with your audience, making it a valuable practice for both personal and business accounts.
